Welcome!
to our website.  We hope you enjoy reading about our adventures traveling and working full time in a motorhome.

About Us!
Dennis is a former 14 year veteran State Trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol.

Dale has been a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonographer (ultrasound technician) since 1984.

Shadow was our 65 pound Dalmatian dog that lived to be 12 years old. He will still be mentioned on this home page, because he spent 12 years of his life with us and the last 3 years was on our travels. (See March 29, 2004 in Dennis Comments).

We decided to live and enjoy life to its fullest and sold almost everything (including the house and furniture) to travel with Dale's job (she is now an ultrasound traveler).

What did we do?
In May, 2000 we purchased a 2000, Rexhall, Roseair, 36 foot gas motorhome with two slide outs. We then put our house on the market that day, and were able to sell and close it in three weeks.  By June, 2000 we were living full-time in our new home on wheels.

We decided we loved this life style so much to continue on. In December, 2001 we purchased a 2002 Holiday Rambler, Ambassador Diesel Pusher. We are very happy with the new home, one reason being, it is equipped for winter months in the northern states.

The biggest change, was Denny leaving a 14 year career with the State. He will have retirement benefits from it in the future. The final decision was easy, traveling across this great big, beautiful country, or stay in Florida and work until he turns age 55.

The best thing is that we get to be home where ever we go and our belongings are with us, including our seasonal clothing and our own bed every night.
